Behavioral Health Aide – Cantwell

(Part-time) BHAs are based in each of the compacted villages, as funding allows. The BHA will receive training to prepare for service in substance abuse and behavioral health counseling, prevention and community development. The BHA will provide services to the extent of their training.

Village Public Safety Officer – Mentasta and Kluti-Kaah

(Full-time)Works with the Alaska State Toopers in promoting general public safety, law enforcement, fire protection, search and rescue, and emergency medical services.

Community Health Aide – Tazlina

(Full-time) Provides primary (acute, chronic, and preventive) health care and emergency care to those seeking health services in an assigned village, primarily through the village’s clinic. Occasionally provides patient care at accident sites or client’s home. Provides referral to other health agencies, as necessary.

On-Call Environmental Health Maintenance

Collecting water samples to submit for testing and evaluation. May be asked to assist in sevicing village water and sewer systems and implementing the water haul program. Maintenance, repairs and inprovements for CRNA facilities. Minor home repairs for eligible beneficiaries.  Must be in good physical health and capable of handling/moving materials over 50 pounds. Must have a valid Ak. Driver License with NO DWIs. or other major driving violations on driving record for past 36 months.

On-call Patient Transport Driver

Transports clients to and from appointments. Must have a valid AK. Drivers License with NO DWI and no other major driver violations in the past 36 months.

On-call Receptionist

The overall function of the CRNA Receptionist/Health Administrative Assistant is to provide reception assistance and PBX duties for all of CRNA, as well as administrative support to the Health Department Administration. The Assistant will provide an atmosphere that is welcoming, culturally sensitive, comprehensive, integrated and continuous.

Home Maker

(Full-time, Part-time, and On-Call) Assist elders and diabled persons with home care: chores, cooking, personal care.
