ELDERS DESERVE TO BE CARED FOR!
At CRNA’s Elder Services, we believe our aging community deserves to be cared for. To do that, our seniors may need nutritional support, meal and water delivery, and assistance with household chores such as vacuuming, snow removal, splitting wood, or other physically demanding tasks. The problem is many seniors struggle to keep up with the physical demands of living in rural Alaska. The inability to access healthy food, housekeeping assistance, or larger federal programs may leave seniors feeling exhausted, defeated, or immobile.
Elder Services believes all seniors deserve to have access to healthy food, housekeeping assistance, and clean water. We understand that life can get difficult as you age, and tasks such as driving to the grocery store or shoveling snow can become daunting chores. No senior should live with less dignity than they deserve. All seniors deserve to be cared for and have a connection with the community to maintain integrity and a healthy standard of living.
Our team wants to serve our community's seniors and offer care for the elders that led the generation before us, which is why we offer professional services to meet the needs of our community members who are 55+. Elder Services at CRNA understands the nutritional needs of geriatric individuals, has taken time to understand what the elders of our community need culturally, and has been serving the Ahtna community for 20+ years. We help you care for the elderly loved ones in your family and offer peace of mind. Elder Services knows how to serve the senior community and has a convenient location, a capable team, and strong individuals to help provide the needs every senior deserves. Our team works to select menu options that are culturally relevant, healthy and sustains the Elder Services program through a Fish Wheel. We work to pair our qualifying elders with a home chore technician to assist with difficult household tasks such as snow shoveling and splitting wood. We also offer drinking water delivery for the homes of qualifying elders that are on a tank. CRNA can help you have peace of mind about the elders in your family and provide care during this critical time in their life. We want to see the elders and seniors of the Ahtna community and Copper River Valley live with the dignity they deserve.
