- Not all Tribal Health Organizations provide Specialty Services. CRNA is able to provide these Specialty Services because of Medicaid and other insurance billing.
- IHS is not insurance. The money CRNA collects from Medicaid and other insurance providers helps us to provide Specialty Services to our beneficiaries, which include:
- Wellness services – Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, Massage Therapy
- Dental services – Crowns, Bridges, Dentures
- Burial Benefits, Cancer Benefits, Eyeglasses, Hearing Aides, etc.
- DenaliCare is the State of Alaska’s name for Medicaid (the federal supplemental insurance program)
- Denali KidCare is the State of Alaska’s name for Medicaid for persons under 18 yrs old.
- Denali KidCare covers children birth to 18 years of age and pregnant women who meet income eligibility standards.
